So today I decided to make something a little more adventurous for you, with my One Day Protein.  I made it a combination of Orange fruits, Red fruit and veggie and Green veggies.  I also threw in there a banana because if you can stand touching it, a banana brings a lot of tastes together without overpowering it with its own taste.  If you want it thinner, omit the banana. One Day Protein Banana Smoothie

There are a lot of people who will only see the word banana in our One Day Protein Banana Shake.  The truth is that banana acts as a thickener and brings flavors together while adding fiber and potassium.  The flavor doesn’t have to take over.


  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt – Stonyfield Farms or even better Greek God’s yogurt are our favorites in flavor and quality of ingredients
  • 1/2 banana – You want this ripe but not bruised so that you get the fiber and not just concentrated sugar.  Don’t like banana?  You can substitute 1/3-1/2 cooked, peeled sweet potato – delicious, fibrous and a great thickener.
  • 2 pitted dates – This is for sweetness since if you are using plain yogurt.  The dates also fiber and minerals.
  • 1/4 cup almond milk – For smooth in the smoothie and lots of belly busting calcium.
  • 1 scoop of One Day Diet Protein powder – You can skip the yogurt if you want but the probiotics in the yogurt are great for belly busting as well.

Add some ice or some water if you want a thinner smoothie and blend.  Drink up.

Thyroid Diet Shake

pineapple-bennyDid you know that iodine rich greens and orange fruits and veggies are great for the thyroid and so we have included them in what we call this the Thyroid Diet Shake.

We have included cantaloupe and spinach in this recipe but you can swap it for papaya, mango or other orange fruits and vegetables as well as other greens.

  • 1 cup cantaloupe
  • 1/2 cup spinach (or 1 TB barleygreen or guzzle down with 3 BG tablets)
  • 1/2 cup honey dew melon
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1 scoop ODP (One Day Protein)
  • 1 cup water or ice

Varicose Veins Diet Shake

The Varicose Veins Diet Shake may have a funny name but it is effective and delicious.  Pineapple is one of the best foods for varicose veins, hemorrhoids, menstrual cramps and other blood thickening concerns.  The pineapple is this varicose veins diet shake recipe is key.  The other ingredients are added for their health benefits for the blood and just health in general.


  • 1/2 cup pineapple
  • 1/2 cup spinach (or 1 TB barleygreen or guzzle down with 3 BG tablets)
  • 1 scoop ODP (One Day Protein)
  • 1 TB canned coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup dairy section coconut milk
  • 1 cup water or ice if you have a good blender

One Day Protein Shake Coconut

I just love coconut. So, the One Day Protein Shake with Coconut is one of my favorite recipes.  See if you feel the same:

Add to the blender cup:

  • 1 cup cold water for 10 minutes and 1 TB chia seeds

To that add:One Day Protein Shakes one day diet protein shakes diet one day

  • 1 scoop either Rich Chocolate One Day Protein Shake or Creamy Vanilla One Day Protein Shake
  • 1 cup refrigerated Coconut milk unsweetened (or vanilla) – Silk brand is our choice.  Tip: You can freeze some as ice cubes to transform diet  milkshakes into diet smoothie recipes.
  • 1/2 ripe, medium banana

Blend until smooth.  Enjoy!


  • 1 TB cocoa powder for a more chocolatey taste and/or
  • 1 heaping TB canned, concentrate coconut milk and/or
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (best with the Creamy Vanilla One Day Protein)
